No US 3G!!!! :(
No US 3G, only has 2100mhz for Europe. Does have quad band GSM and Edge. BOOOO. Why can't someone make one of these with US 3G bands. No WM Samaung Omnia, No HTC Touch HD and now none on the ASUS Galaxy. I am starting to get a bad feeling that someone doesn't like us.
Is this preorder for an unlocked GSM/HSDPA version or the CDMA/EVDO Verizon phone?
Better build quality inspections and more plentiful at launch. Way to long a wait for something that they had months to prepare for. It is still nearly impossible to get one.
I think if you average all three phones 8gig, 16gig B and 16gig W you will get it in around two weeks but it is more like a couple days for the 8gig and 16gig W but three plus weeks for the 16gig B.
Not to one up T-Mobile, but we also use magenta in our logo and have for a lot lot lot longer than T-mobile. Not only do we use Magenta but we also have blue as our other color in our logo design. Actually it is almost identical to engadgetmobile's colors. I hereby ask engadgetmobile to cease using these colors to not confuse our drycleaning customers into trying to use your services when they are trying to use ours. (JK) Hopefully this finds you in the best possible light and we look forward to seeing your new color scheme. Sincerely Me.
They have already started changing plans on accounts. We just received our bill for our Corporate account and my Brother and my Wife both had the unlimited MediaMax plan and AT&T switched them to a 5MB MediaMax plan without telling me. I was mad as hell and called them and threatened them as much as I could and finally got them to remove the extra $850 off our bill. I am still going to have to do it again for this upcoming bill but everyone should be watching their bills closely and might even want to call and check. They tried to tell me I called in and changed my plan. The rep said something like "I have it right here in my records, lets see, hmmmmm, well I don't actually have any names of who called but I am sure you did." I then asked when the supposed calls were made and two of the supposed times were 5 min apart and I was at the dentist when those supposed calls came in. I finally got a hold of my local business rep and she is going to straighten everything out but was I one pissed off customer when I saw that bill. We are not a huge client but we usually spend over a grand a month with them and to pull this sort of S#$*@T on someone is unexcuseable. Also, the date that the changes and calls were made just so happened to be the exact same day that our billing cycle started. Funny Huh
2. Hmm..it has the SD logo on there though. Is that also used for mini-SD cards, which the 750 should have?

Here is a link to a pic for the gadgeteer web site of a Treo 750v with the back off and battery removed. It also says SD but you can't read the fine print. I would assume that the US version is also a mini-SD The pic is about 40% down the page.

I just got an e-mail back from my Cingular Business Rep. and she is hoping for a Nov/Dec release date.
I installed "Slingplayer Mobile" on my K-Jam and had surprisingly good results. When using a wi-fi connection the picture is very good and there is little to no freeze-ups. When using a Cingular Edge network connection the picture does freeze up from time to time but as long as you are stationary it is not all that bad. Very comparable to "MobiTV" which I used to have on my Treo 650, before switching away from Palm to WM5. There is only the one time fee and then you are free to surf the channels whenever and whereever you like. I will be keeping my Slingplayer Mobile for a long time.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"With all the new multitouch capable monitors coming out, which one is the best? With the release of Windows 7 I really want a touchscreen monitor for my desktop. I'm looking to get a Full HD monitor that supports multitouch and can still look great during gaming and movies. Which one has the best specs for the price?"
