I was looking forward to purchasing an ebook reader this round. Looks like I'll stick to my iPhone for now or find a discounted 505.
Having an unlocked iPhone makes sense if you are a world traveller. I happen to be & being able to use a separate sim rocks!
This is what a candy bar smartphone should be! If Palm and AT&T and colluding, I wouldn't be surprised to see the Verizon and Apple treaty come to fruition.
So where can one d/l or pickup a track of your band's recording, Good Morning?! Definitely enjoyed the music in the video. Made it much more tolerable and delightful w/ that lack of image stabilization.
Perfect gift for my girlfriend's graduation present. When do geeks have time to shop when Apple is still robbing me of all my money in this economy? Lower the prices already please! OLPC should be more like FiFE = Free iPhone For Everyone!
Is Cha-ching really worth it when Mint seems to have done it right and is continually offering constant updates?
if Bose just lowered the pricing of their poor products, then I think they could easily raise more revenue and keep a few more employees, but no, they are even more elitist than Apple.
I'm never able to watch the tele due to my flying schedule. This would be a perfect gift to a regional pilot! I'll give out a couple of buddy passes! ;)
adrian boioglu : concerning the difference between the $2499 vs the $1999, it's not only the CPU that is faster, but it also has double the cache on dye. (6MB vs 3MB). The video card is also comes in at double the RAM checking in at 512MB. So when you add it all up together, the RAM upgrade costs $141 at newegg, a new HD costs around $140 and then the other two things that you cannot upgrade, you have to decide if it is worth it.

I'm thinking of "settling" for the low range model because I really don't see myself doing the graphic intensive stuff. From what you said, I would ask around a little more. Of course, if you plan on upgrading in a year or so, you can use the price difference for something else later on. =)
Looks so real but it would have been better with a screen shot of the actual UI turned on. It's only 2 days away. I'm sure we can all wait...patiently!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
