@alexpete

Oh, but there is a Mac app. Just run Boot Camp or Parallels, get a copy of Windows, and then download the Zune software from the Zune.net site.

Of course, if you're talking about an OS X application...you're kinda out of luck.
More color choices are neat,but hopefully they'll be for either size. Also, it wouldn't hurt for Microsoft to get bigger sizes and roll it out to other countries :)

Oh, and BTW Engadget, the comment ranking system doesn't seem to work in IE8. Am I the only one with this problem?
Good to know. Of course, haters will still rag on IE and security, but at least they're pretty much wrong. I don't know why any individual would not upgrade to IE8 by now from either IE6 or IE7 unless they just aren't aware of its existence.
I'd think they'd going with WinMo 6.5 and maybe 7 if it happens at that time, because of WinMo's potential.
Pick ME Engadget! I read your site practically every day! You'd make a guy feel so happy if you picked me!
Cool, but please make better WinMo phones too :)
Please pick me Engadget! I want a Zune HD so much!
What's the point of a Gift Guide? Why not just ask what someone wants, and make it easier and worthwhile? I'm certain you wouldn't want another sweater to add to your collection of "Christmas-sweaters-I'll-never-wear" or whatever other gift you will be nice enough to be thankful for, but wish that the thoughtfulness or time could have been dedicated to something else.

I think most people would rather have one great gift, than several 'ok' gifts. So just ask. It will save the time that a person may have to return it, and will really, really make it all the worthwhile. It doesn't necessarily have to be a consumer product either; instead, you could offer a service or a helping hand when they need something done, but you wouldn't normally want to do. I just think it's better to be efficient in finding out what people would really like, than just doing guesses, and not reaching the fullest satisfaction there is.
WinMo 7 + that = Awesomeness.
@HighestRanked : Why do you bother reading (if you do) on articles of WinMo phones if you don't like WinMo? WinMo is the most powerful mobile OS out there right now, and Android hasn't come close yet to surpasssing it.

If WinMo is so dead, there certainly wouldn't be a lot of handsets with it, nor would there be a lot of businesses or consumers using it.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
