Jason,

If you think Microsoft's security issues are directly related to their market share, then you're wrongly mistaken.

I suggest you do some research. Start here, http://www.roughlydrafted.com/2008/04/02/five-factors-shifting-the-future-of-malware-and-platform-security/
lol jjclark, you poor ignorant, stupid little boy.

if you actually knew what and how a trojan works, you'd realise how stupid your comment really is.

it's kinda like, your house has a high quality alarm system that no one can get through.. but when your mother invites the milkman in for a morning session under the sheets, of course he's going to exploit her in every way he can... hell, i know i would.
NEWSFLASH -- If you invite a thief into your house and give him the keys, there's a good chance you'll get robbed!

How ever, with Microsoft Windows even if you keep the door locked, there's still 1,000's of exploits the thief can use to pwn your stuff.

The bottom line is, Windows is better for high-end gaming and that is all. OS X pwns for everything else.... but until the windows kiddies grow up and stop living off mummies pocket money, they will continue being little ignorant twats. it's all part of evolution - start with windows until you work your way up to bigger, and better things such as Apple and Mac OS X.

Big hug!
i love it how Microsoft make the boot time such a significant benefit. i guess because Windows users are constantly having to restart their machine, quicker booting seems like a great thing.
Sony could have made a lot of money by now if they spent a little more time on iPod accessories & speakers. I guess why would they support the iPod market when they're against it themselves... but the fact is they could have made some good revenue off iPod gadgets, as well.
... maybe Sony still can't believe that it was only 10years ago that they were in the same position as Apple and the iPod are in now.
You can turn it off in the settings, also when LOCK i on, shaking it does nothing.
@ Paul Chapel

haha, you're right, and i agree. "fanboys" in general are pretty sad, but Microsoft "fanboys" are a total laugh. Although sometimes i can't help it feel guilty... it's as if i'm laughing at retards
I'm sure Apple did everything they can from a design point of view to keep the aluminum rear case, but I think the loss in 3G, GPS and signal speeds were simply not worth it.

Lets hope the pictures of the Black aren't doing it justice.
sexy looking laptop, too. what model is it?
Tell me more regarding the new speaker and mic design. Is it much louder and clearer?

Also to those people who are concerned about MMS, don't be. There will no doubt be a 3rd party app available for MMS shortly, but furthermore MMS usage is on the decline, as email is increasingly getting popular on mobile phones this will be the future for sending attachments and pictures, etc... SMS will still be around for a while yet, just as a simple means of a short message.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
