Microsoft Bob. I'm beginning to feel old because I know exactly what you're talking about.
I can visualize using this and pulling an app window forward to use or into the background when I'm done. Using multi-touch gestures to do that like in Minority Report would be really cool. It will be interesting to see if this gets approved or not.
The 1984 1/2 Mazda RX-7 GSL-SE was my first car. An awesome ride and a 5 speed to boot.
A few alternatives:

* A NASCAR owner like Rouch or Hendrick
* Maximum Bob Lutz (he's got a job but look at what he's done for GM)
* Peter DiLorenzo
* The Cast of Top Gear
Now if they will only be allowed to do this on the iPhone the world would be a better place.
There might be some truth to this. On Aug 28th the Triangle Business Journal reported that Uverse is going live in the Jacksonville area. A good test market to start with before going into the larger markets like Charlotte and Raleigh/Durham.

Are we talking true multi-tasking where both apps remain open or a service that calls the other app and closes down one app on completion of the service to save battery life? There's a big difference IMHO. Plus, can anyone whose dug deeply into the iPhone SDK say if the latter can't be done - also a big issue.
Just a thought but in the beginning of the episode Apollo was looking at a picture of the Temple of Aurora in the Book of Pithia which was supposed to be on Earth. He and Starbuck talked about it for a moment before they got on the Parents/Children dialogue.

My senses is that they were on Earth at the ruins of that temple. While the end sequence represents current day New York very well the picture of the Temple of Aurora appeared to be near water with more land on the other side of the river. So maybe they were on their Earth but not our Earth. However, this doesn't reconcile with the fact that Roslin was there and in the book the prophecy says she never makes it there. Then again their future home may also be called Earth the same way that they settled another planet they called Caprica qualified as 'New'.
Sad that environmentalists who demand hybrids can't understand what's a hybrid unless it's spelled out. Reflects the sad state of education in this country. I like the green/red line marketing but then again I'm educated and a car guy which also makes me an endangered species.
I don't think they will go bigger than the 6. At $2.50 a gallon it makes sense. At $4.00 and going higher I think that the biggest Mazda we'll see is the 6. They'll go smaller than the 3 with the 2 to have a pretty good lineup but going bigger than the new 6 moves them away from their strength. That said, Mazda could teach a few car companies to put their cars on a diet.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
