Edge Of Blade you really don't know what your talking about.I love halo,half-life,call of duty,prey,fear,battlefield and unreal 2k+ and while FPS requires alot of skills,good aiming and timing its still a point and shoot game.

RPGs on the other had go deeper than that you have mmorpg,action rpg,turn base rpg and Srpg (think FFT).Final fantasy is a clear example on how rpgs are always changing.You cant take what you learn in FF7 and apply it to FF12 the battle system is so different you would think those 2 game were made by different companies.

Also I remember how many halo fanboys (me included) went ape shit for that trailer on e3 like andbody that loved there game would .I would believe sqaure-enix if they told me that was real game play because when have they lied ?

Show me a game that looks better on playstation than ff7,8 and 9.Show me a game thats looks better on playstation 2 that looks better than FFX and 12.Sqaure-enix is the best in the biz when it comes to pulling all the stops and using the full power of the system they worked on.

If you think sqaure-enix cant pulled off somthing like what they showed in the trailer then you must had just started gaming.....

Also only reason why halo numbers are so big is because when the xbox came out halo 1&2 were the best FPS you could get at the time for that system.

the xbox360 has Rainbow:six,gears of war,bioshock,fear,prey,half-life 2 and the Ghost recon series.

From what I saw from the ingame footage and the things they add halo 3 cant hold a candle to gears and rainbow.

Halo as good as it is will never be as big of a Franchise as the final fantasy series .......

I don't have a problem with american dev's anymore.Sure theres stil sterotypes in gaming for all races but no where as bad as the sterotypes found in japanese games and anime.

Whites in anime and games are either shown as cowboy wannabes ,NRA gun shooting , otaku/wannabe japanese,rich japanese women chaser and big bad dumb army warrior.

Blacks in anime and games are a mistrel dream come true with big lips deep black skin and DJ hip-hop dancing fools that are only good for rapping and being cool.

Like it or not american game companies still have a long way to go but at least they are getting somewhere.I see american games going the way of new age comic books by lessing the sterotypes without being "PC"....

For the people complaining about it not having 3g think for a sec.Cingular 3g is still small and only at metro areas it makes more sense to have WiFi and edge than 3g where there are more hot spots.


Also 8 gigs is HUGE for an american smartphone , hell sony just came out with an 8 gig card for the psp and that retails for $300.

This is not an ipod people this is a SMARTPHONE with new tec and OSX even though it only has 8 gig it still holds more stuff than any phone out with mp3 play back in the US.

It's people like some of you here that makes selling phones hard . Alittle common sense goes a long way......

I could care less if it ran on GPRS I WANT THAT PHONE.

Sqaure-enix has one of the biggest franchise in japan (dragon-quest) and world-wide (final fantasy,kingdom hearts)

For god sake i think they are at 70 million final fantasy sold world wide alone.Im not a hardcore fan but anybody thats been gaming knows sqaure-enix is the biggest japanese pubisher/system seller ....

Then again they did name EA #1 so what does that tell you......

My first gamer resolutions is to stay away from fanbois also.Its not worth commenting when xbots and the SDF go at it over dumb S**T while giving both companies free advertisement.

My 2nd resolutions is to finsih the damn games I spent money on.I just beat Fall of man and zelda is still a longs way to go and Rainbow six I beat last week.I have to beat double agent before lost planet comes out tho and I have metal slugs for wii and lost kingdom for ps3 that I havent even touch yet.

My 3rd gamer resolution is to kill off pc gaming for good.This one is had for me because I want to play hell gate london so bad but I just dont have the time or the money right now to upgrade and have a vista ready pc.

My 4th gamer resolution is to take the money i'll save from quiting smoking (3 weeks so for) and pc gaming and get my 2nd car that my wife been begging for.

I own all 3 systems and I have to say xbox360 had a great year in 06 and I can't stop playing wiilda but I am sick of hearing the SDF and xbots make all these bogus claims about there systems

Gears of war is a great looking game but by no means can it not be ported to the ps3 .Remember the unreal tech demo for the ps3 (if i remember right unreal2k7 is still coming on the ps3).All you fanbois are falling for this dumb hype for a game that got its power from having a few models on display at once...

The wii has more power than any game that has been shown so far but has a long way to go if it is going to keep selling systems (mario ,zelda and samus cant always carry the system)

The ps3 is a big hot mess but there is power there and games like final fantasy 13 devil may cry 4 , metal gear 4, heavenly sword and lair will show what that grill can do. If anybody thinks games like final fantasy and metal gear cant push that console than you really havent gamed for that longed.....
