engadget rules! this is an awesome contest! one of the few open to us in canada! go engadget!
Just one of my cousins
ya, that was the first thing i did when i got my macbook, playing around, "hey, maybe it could.... whoa cool!"

works on the right too, and also can look better in the corner, so it's on a 45deg with the right angle of the top corner.. but might cover ur apple menu or the search icon
cool!

I was actually going to put up the same sorta thing, I applied my invisibile shield full body shield for macbook a couple weeks ago and took the pics already...

just haven't got around to it.

I think it's a must have,

+it makes the scratches that were already present, dissappear.
+bubbles (big and small) really do dissappear after a day or two
+pre-cut for you
+lots of spray solution given

-hard to get the big piece for the top cover onto it without big bubbles
-hard to not get little pieces of lint caught under
-applying the one for the touchpad makes touchpad movement hard, more friction when moving with your finger... i'd say its like touching window glass
Sad to hear J3.

On another note, before my white macbook and white iMac isight, I had a Toshiba Satelitte M33C series.

When looking back, that toshiba ran as hot as my macbook gets, but the worst part was, the hot spot was right where the trackpad/palm rests are... rendering it wayyy too uncomfortable to use. At least the macbook hotspot is on the bottom, near the back, away from the hands area. And also when I think about it, that too got "discolouration" stains, it was a silver finish, which dulled over time in the shape of my palm/thumbs (probably more similar to the blackbook smudge patterns). Anyway, that thing broke down and that was why i bought my first mac (imac g5 17" w/ isight, haha then a month later the intel comes out... damn you apple) that's why i wanted to get a macbook when it first came out. so i dont get screwed like that again lol

but i ordered this, which should be arriving soon,
http://www.shieldzone.com/item_description/APPMCBF.html
from the makers of Invisible Shield for your iPods and such... I'll make sure to take before and after pics and post it up somewhere... although, i dont know where...
wow that's some really hot stuff
shows up as 74 for all 3 for me too

glad to see ya guys back, missed it
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
