I'm quite confused, for all the major sticking points; no MMS, Copy/Paste, removable battery, etc. etc, you still say "you're going to have a hard time finding a better device for two hundred bucks -- or maybe even for any price." I'm sorry, but $200 can buy me a Curve that can copy/paste, push email almost any mail account, use personal and BES contacts, use Telenav, MMS (sorry Sprint), etc etc... This device doesn't sound like any sort of improvement over the 1st generation, just merely adding GPS and 3G. I can run down other devices that are between the $200-$299 (carrier subsidized pricing) that can run circles around this. I believe it'll be a hot seller at first for the cool factor and just like the original, sales will start to fall.
Sigh..

- A sad Sprint customer...
Love the new look, it loads so much better now and I don't notice a huge lag like before!
Seth,

The reason why they don't copy Alltel or T-Mobile is at the end of the day, those companies are not ATT's competition, VZW is.
Might be a slow processor but I bet it does video better....
I don't give tips anymore to anyone except one person on Engadget because I've posted tips only to see 3 days later a BGR linked tip.. Boy Genius kinda reminds me of a Simpsons' Episode where they said Maggie was a genius, only to find out that she was getting her answers from Lisa. BG isn't a genius, he's just getting his tips from other people.
Fallout Boy? Come on now..

Oh, hot phone too.
Yankees368, well you should've posted it.. oh wait.. How about you start a website and call it "Thestuffengadgetmissed.com that way we can go to it and read the stories that fell through the crack. As for me, I didn't hear about this story, guess I should just go end this pathetic life :(
Just cause I know Corporate Security is going to read this.... You fired me for a picture of a phone already out, but funny, people are still learning about all these new devices.. Go figure..
I like the headset idea.. Sounds tasty..
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
