So now I have to tell my daughter who got a brand-new touch for Xmas that it's $20 for an upgrade three weeks after she opened her present? What a pantsload.
So AT&T has iPhone, T-Mob and Sprint have Android, and Verizon has, um, Windows Mobile?
I like my blackberry, and I'm no Apple fanboy, but the difference between a blackberry and the iphone is like the difference between an Apple //e and a Mac. I don't know if the first generation will live up to the demo, but the iphone defines what a smartphone should be. Perhaps corporate users will stick with blackberry, but I can't see anyone looking at Pearl as their first smartphone choosing it instead of an iPhone (unless the choice is made solely on price).
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
