Same here; for me the .AVI file format is important, since many of the friends and family I share videos with don't know about codec packs, or haven't upgraded to Windows 7, etc...
"But the first of the series also wasn't trouncing beloved flicks like The Dark Knight."

Are you saying the first Twilight movie beat The Dark Knight?
I was confused by "some additional games you can download" in the article; is there some way for Windows 7 users to download the full version for free or is the article just referring to the trial version that's available to everyone?
Apologies in advance for perhaps missing something obvious, but I don't understand how this works. I couldn't find an explanation for how this ad campaign works. Wouldn't we need internet access in the first place to make the Bing search? How are we supposed to know which WiFi access points offer this? What is the "limited time" on the Internet that we get per Bing search? Can this be extended? i.e., I make two Bing searches to double my free WiFi access time?
That's good to know, thanks for the clarification. However, why is must in quotation marks then? Is it not real must? And perhaps a quick explanation of must in parentheses might be useful for people like me who only know it as a verb or in its primary noun definition.
"This vinegar is made from the cooked grape "must" matured"

Grammar check, please.
Oh, I just realized, it's probably a typo; "...in the process OF buying Skype..."

Got it. Never mind. =)
"Joltid founders Niklas Zennström and Janus Friis will join the investor group that is in the process or buying Skype away from eBay"

Are the Joltid founders wealthy enough to buy Skype from eBay?
Does Logos have offline translations or do you have to be connected to the Internet?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"With all the new multitouch capable monitors coming out, which one is the best? With the release of Windows 7 I really want a touchscreen monitor for my desktop. I'm looking to get a Full HD monitor that supports multitouch and can still look great during gaming and movies. Which one has the best specs for the price?"
