..I've been seeing a stupid banner ad about it all day on one of my sites I frequent daily because Firefox with AdBlock was crashing on me so I had to use Chrome..and I knew it was going to get to me subconsciously no matter how hard I tried to ignore it. Blah.

No that's just some knockoff screen-protector from a 3rd party...Engadget has a few links/videos of the M8 is in action...totally different icons..they don't want Apple to sue them immediately you know..

I agree..it's smaller than the Apple Store that just opened up in my mall (took over the now defunct Sharper Image location), that has a full service Genius Bar :D

I fully agree with you there. I saw that video of the Softbank line and I went holy sh*t. I'm not trying to be stereotypical..but I thought the Japanese were supposed to be smart? Why the heck are there almost 1k people waiting in line for this phone when they have phones that are lightyears beyond the iPhone's technology? I actually envy their 922SH model..and hope one day I'd be able to get one once someone figures out how to fully unlock it without any "not allowed to remove the battery for more than 3 days" crud (SoftBank locks down their phones really well as I've heard).

Maybe Softbank hired a group of people just to make it look like everyone wants one when they find out it won't do half of the stuff their current phone does? HAAHAHAHA
