There is absolutely no reason to begrudge someone for standing up for their labor rights. Firstly, it has nothing to do with you, if you like working 60 hour weeks with no overtime or compensation then go ahead and get your engineer's degree and sign up at Apple. Secondly, too often the carrot of being moved up management is dangled in front of folks when the reality is it will never happen. No one is forcing people to work at Apple, but people shouldn't have to make the choice of illegal work practices or work somewhere else.
neverfail would only help if there was an issue with your corporate back end, not if RIM itself is having any outages
Agreed with Mark... I mean weren't they giving these phones away with pizzas for a while?
Had Data Connection refused on the blackberries
I think the notion of bulk on cell phones is becoming moot. With bluetooth technology and voice independent dialing, its becoming less of an issue, since you don't need to whip out your device to make or receive calls.
T-Mobile is simply the cheapest, and hence to many people's eyes are simply the best. Their customer service is really pretty good considering they are the only carrier I know of who still have customer service available 24/7
Its a device that utilizes your broadband connection to boost the signal strength of CDMA carriers. In a sense what UMA was meant to bring to the customer, better reception in homes or offices that had poor carrier reception.
I have to agree with alot of the other posters. With a touchscreen based phone they're all gonna look pretty much the same. Its like getting a patent on keyboard design
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
