@Chaosdivine Good trolling attempt. 7/10.
It needs more horsepower. And root.
@m3tric lol. Spoken like a true fanboi.
@[Highest Ranked] What's even more hilarious are people who fail to read in context. I was talking about the rumor that we were going to be seeing an iPhone OS device for $2000, and calling that ridiculous.

Am I not permitted to comment on anything on Engadget that is obvious, wild speculation? Please, outline your rules for interacting with the Internet for me so I can have them at the ready the next time.

Moron.
@Jack Are you serious? Are you really saying that because Apple hasn't announced a tablet, this ENTIRE DISCUSSION is moot? Despite the fact that we ALL KNOW the damn thing is coming?
$2000 for an iPhone OS device. Hilarious.

>Comment system is still incredibly poorly organized
I don't think so, Tim.
Why would ANYONE want one of these?

No WiFi? No Bluetooth AND no keyboard or mouse? Seriously?
Anyone know if it's possible to play Sirius Satellite Radio streams in Maemo? I do it on my iPhone 3GS with the Sirius application and Backgrounder, but I dunno if it's possible on the Maemo browser; how's Flash?

I am THIS || close to switching to the N900; willing to forgive the resistive touchscreen and brave the wilds of a pretty small base of Maemo applications just because I hate Apple's restrictive attitude towards its more technical customers who want to be able to use their phone for what it really is: a very small, UNIX-powered computer.

>no root
I don't think so, Tim.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
