Seriously...some of you need to get a clue. Most of you dont have the slightest idea what it takes to keep a network with about 60 million subscribers up and running. If ANY carrier, (yes, including VERIZON) added several hundred thousand NEW subscribers, as well as migrating plans on several hundred thousand current subscribers....there would be problems with activation and data....and who knows what else? I know it's frustrating....but be reasonable and consider what magnitude of a feat AT&T is currently undertaking.....BTW...I havent had any problems w/ my iPhone or the EDGE network and I'm in Central Texas.
Let's go back a couple of years....do you remember when the Razr first hit the market? It hovered in the 600-700 dollar range when it first arrived...and people still bought it...then price came down and it is now the single most popular handset ever sold in mobile phone history! Apple and Cingular have been around the block a couple of times...I think it's very short sighted to make presumptions at this point.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
