IGN has proven to be to me the most reliable site for honest reviews. The proof? Assassin's Creed. That game had so much hype and IGN (particularly Hilary Goldstein) weren't afraid to give their honest opinion. While other sites like Gametrailers.com gave it a 9+ score, IGN gave it a 7.7. I played the game and found I agreed with every point he made. It was a very average and flawed, pretty, but flawed game. And assomeone else pointed out, listen to the podcast they did where Hilary explains in detail what makes the game so great and why he wasn't a fan of past GTA's.
Hey, Activision, as long as you're telling companies to slash their prices in half how about setting an example and lower the goshdarn games to 35 bucks. I think we'd buy a lot more games in the longrun.
@Antilucid

How does living in Salem from '75 to '03 prove that K-Fed didn't live there? That's a ridiculous statement. Even if it was a small town, it's impossible that you kept track of the names of every and any kid that passed through there for whatever amount of time.
Anyone seriously considering any of e-ten's phones should visit their forum. the glofiish line,particularly the x800 is plagued with problems. non-transflective screen is unusable outdoors, lack of ram causing random power-offs, terrible camera quality and horrible customer service. But don't take my word, do the research yourself at eten-users.eu/
"well. certainly confirms for me that this guy is a bit of a douche."

Wow, you took his comments way out of context. Whe he was asked if ST should be viewed more than once the interview was inferring if it's like Donnie Darko where things aren't as clear the first time and the more you watch it you catch the details. He wasn't insinuating that his movie is so great you'll want to see it twice. This question wouldn't have been asked if DD wasn't one of those movies fans watch over and over again.
"There's a game on 360 that doesn't look like any other shooter?"

Bioshock.

I swear, though, after Heavenly Sword, Lair, and seeing this the PS3 is pigeonholing itself as the system with all the great cut scenes and average gameplay.

BTW I own both systems, so I'm really counting on Drake's Fortune to pull through.
This is some sweety booty and I'm not just talking about the x360fb bloggers!
So, joystiq thinks this looks good, but the Halo shorts look amateurish to them?
Strike two, Joystiq.
Man, this Siegel guy's got no taste. If this was crap to him, he must have loved "Doom" and "Bloodrayne". Heaven forbid a director with an alternative vision to the norm of current video game movies be allowed into the club. I couldn't care less for Halo in general, never play it, but after watching that short I actually wanted more. Opinions like Siegel's are the reason Uwe Boll gets continuous work.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
