I agree that this UI is a heck of a lot better than the standard 6 & 6.1 - I understand the screen size is small, but that doesn't necessarily make it a logical step to just shrink down everything with the goal of replicating a standard dekstop as much as possible. So having larger icons is definitely a nicer step for those with a touchscreen.
The idea of a Mad Max future speckled with solar vehicles named Eleanor, which keep their speeds at 55 mph to preserve fully-day vehicle operation just doesn't seem as ominous, awesome and terrifying. What next? The bandits will be running around with portable pain guns rather than cross-bows? This must stop now.
Huh, and I was wondering where Elvis went...
I actually like concept as well as the layout and how it looks overall. Good job!
Wait, I thought he was bi-racial....? Huh, I have to re-check my facts. Well, doesn't matter. What does matter was that this was a very good strategic move to use a digital camera, it conveys a very solid technology-aware message. Rightly needed, too - we need our politicians to be more technologically connected (I mean understanding and leveraging technology as a whole, not on Facebook!).
If you want this, better buy it now before serious import quotas kick in.
Except that in the forest you have little sunshine and little wind....!
While we're at it, let's see application of a formula discounting the portion of the traffic due to people checking out the articles to post responses on why the Apple articles shouldn't be there in the first place (or attacking fanboys)!

Happy New Year all of those in front of me up to that place in the world somewhere by Australia where it switches back until yesterday.
I don't know about everyone else here, but the more information I give to my government, the absolutely better and more secure I feel. Look, all you doubters and critics, at the government's impressive record of keeping private data, well, private, and perhaps more so, how they really never overstep or abuse privacy boundaries that they create. Come on, I bet you haven't ever heard of our efficient government losing anything - pens and office supplies, computers, 27 million computer records - or being found guilty of keeping records of product purchases even though they had a regulation against doing so? Geeze!
I got a WowWee Rovio mobile webcam from my brother, so somewhat along the same lines as the MicroFly. I also got this glass thing - like 2 small glass heads, one looking straight ahead and the other turned to the side, one blue one white - from Kosta Boda. This was from my mother. My woman is with her family, so I'll see what she got me in a few days. Of course the best gift by far is being with and in touch with my family and friends (well, 2nd, of course, to a WinMo 7 beta release for my imate. J/k.).
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
