Maybe me?
I agree with Mr. Gartenberg. As novel as the idea is behind Chrome, I simply cannot get myself excited about it. It doesn't interest me in the least as an OS that I'd like to have as my primary.

Also, speaking as an Indian residing *in* India, it's simply impossible for a cloud-based OS to succeed here even in the near future. Countries like India don't yet have the internet infrastructures to deal with things like that. While almost every place in our country has broadband access, not everyone makes use of them; furthermore, there are frequent outages, both of the internet and electricity. It'd be kind of a bummer if you lost half your OS's functionality every time the electricity went out. :)

Also, this is my first comment on the new Engadget layout. Woot.
Er, hasn't this been available for a while now? I mean, I *am* using it as we speak, and have been for a fair amount of time now. Or this is some sort of an official release??
I don't own any game console. :(

Give?
Want want want

"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
