Ahhhh Nigel's Point! Brings back memories! This is a great idea.
You have to be careful writing such reviews, because you my friend have just raised the bar for you.
Competition is great. I look forward to checking out this phone.
Because many of us have seen the first transformers, loved transformers while we were growing up, and love the idea of giant kick ass robuts that can transform into bad ass cars, planes and other objects. BTW it probably is THE most anticipated movie of 2010. Just because YOU and the people YOU know aren't interested, has no reflection whatsoever of the masses. Life must be rough in gloomsville.
You aren't paying apple. It's a third party vendor. Relax,
"My N95 still has more features than this and with it having 3.5G i doubt that iPhone loads pages faster, dont get me wrong the Phone is nice if you like shiny phones that you must upgrade every 12 months to the next model because your fanboyitus says you must."

And thats the kind of thinking that got RIM/Motorola/Nokia screwed in the first place. The best phone isn't the one with the most features, lol. Its the one with the best usability for the features people care about. How do websites look on your N95? How's the UI in comparison to the iPhone" How's the SDK for amazing third party applications? I could go on, but I won't. Enjoy your phone, but don't for a minute thing we are brainwashed because we like ours. You are only fooling yourself. If this makes you feel better with your phone choice and the ridiculous amount of money you paid for your N95, carry on.
Now if only they had a design team...
Hmm.. starting to think the iPod doesn't do anything really well. Just does a few things OK. What do you guys think?
Its a better system? Crappy interface, no games, lousy online experience, and more expensive. Hmm...

$199 sounds great, but to be honest that almost seems underpriced. The Xbox 360 is a beast of a system compared to the Wii. Really, I dont even know why people compare the two anymore. The Xbox 360 has great games, awesome Media center functionality, great graphics and sound, and an awesome online experience.
Hey Kai,
Its the hype backlash. Its also a function of the media lacking objectivity too. All the analysts and media on the iPhone for the most part ignores any faults in the device. Its being poised as the most amazing device this world has ever seen. For the average individual its not that big of a deal cause they may encounter this a few times before launch. For mobile device addicts, this means that we have are bombarded with a ridiculous amount of hype, and I do mean ridiculous. I don't condone the iPhone bashing at all. I think it has potential. I'm just making a suggestion as to why the iPhone bashing exists.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
