make love for gadgets.
Mmm if only the playing field was 300m larger my house would be in it :)
Thank god!

Sony came back to their decision...

Kotaku and Sony are friends again...

Big (and smart) of Sony they apologized.
Joystiq should support Kotaku.

In ANYWAY possible.

To make a point you should sent YOUR devkits. This is not the way the should be handled. Sony is trying to muscle out free speech.

And don't meet with a Sony representative a GDC. Sure you will miss a 'scoop' but you should look at the big picture.
Ok...

First off, every unit NOT sold helps Sony... (by a rumoured 350$ per unit). (Nobody really cars about huge figures in the first 6 months anyway)

Second: Sony has a weird method of counting in comparison. Sony counts units shipped out of the factory while MS counts units shipped out of their local warehouses (basicly in store). (You can clearly see that there is a lot of diffrence between the two, my guess hundreds of thousands.)
lets face it, the only other new console was the Wii.. and the PS3 is more powerful (or better) than the Wii
I can give the answer:

There was NO alternative. Large games = good games = multiple discs

Now there is.

Blu-ray or HDDVD. Now it is lame...
it is 800 MSpoints...

Bethesda confirmed this in the (K)OXM podcast...
Wouldn't we? I find the punishment still a little harsh. As far as I know, he didn't actually do that much.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
