@Conor

Typical to throw around the "fanboy" label. If you re-read his post you'll notice no fanboyism. Maybe you should quit bewing such a douche bag.
@SPG...how I miss my '87 SPG. I still remember how I felt the day I picked it up. It was used with high miles but was my dream as a 16 year old.
I was totally pi$$ed to find out that buying any data card with no contract requires a bump of the monthly cost to $80. Kind of a ripoff.
Sorry, but this girl is a fucking moron. Given the state this country is in, she used awful judgment. Too bad she wasn't shot, would have been a good example for the rest of the idiots out there.
Worst part is it gets uglier the farther forward you go...
Sounds like a lot of jealousy here. The girl has millions, you don't. Get over it. A Prius or a Sentra? Whatever. Just because you drive one doesn't mean everyone else has to.

Having said that, I agree with her manager in not getting something quite that fast, but I wouldn't dumb her downb to a Cobalt POS.
You don't have to rip CDs while you sit in the car. You can take all your music and load it onto an SD card and transfer it that way. The only thing Gracenote does is add titles and musician as well as help to catalog the music based on different "moods."

The 2008 Pathfinder already has this and I spent 20 minutes at the dealer playing with it. It's very cool.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
