@Liam,

No. New chip is needed.
sorry, I agree with koehler83. The only people exciting about Gone with the Wind on Blu-ray are my two grandmas.

Oops! nevermind, they don't have an HDTV, much less a blu-ray player.
If you know someone with a GI problem (IBD, Crohns, etc..) I can assure you these things are a big help. My wife has Crohns and this is a great deal easier that having a colonoscopy every six months.
@NP,

thank you! 1-disc a month, unlimited is only $9/mth. Even adding blu-ray to that bumps it up to $11/mth.

Just don't buy GH5 or DJ Hero and you're set for most of the year.
After buying the Blu-ray, I remembered why I only watched it once in theaters.

PLEASE have a decent plot in #3...
Who doesn't like free stuff?
Hey, they ripped off Netflix's business model, so why not Redbox?
Duh, maybe because the cable co's say how much wasted money/manpower went into supporting cable card tech with no return on their investment.

We're still in a capitalistic country, right? Oh wait, Obama got elected...
Now that's a prize!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
