Wow. I kind of feel bad. I read "The Trigger" and found it to be one of my favorites, but I never knew that there was anything more about Arthur C. Clarke. It's now that I know there is. Wow.

Very sad to see him go. I think I'll definitly look up on his other works. He will be remembered.
C'Mon I want to win something from Engadget once and for all!
I will finally be able to get rid of my POS SDA with it's spotty reception, bad battery cover, bad camera, horrible ui, tiny buttons and quiet speaker.

I will finally be able to only carry one device, and I will be cool(er).

C'Mon Engadget! Throw the iPhone my way!
An ocean would be awesome! C'Mon Engadget Mobile!
1. T-Mobile SDA
2. $100 Cash
3. Some random gift cards
4. New Watch
5. StarTrek DVDs
Sweet! I'll take one. I'm using a broken V180 right now!
Por Favor! Pick me please!

Having a dSLR would be awesome.
Pick me! Getting an 'Box 360 would be awesome after the amazon letdown yesterday.
"Design is a funny word. Some people think design means how it looks. But of course, if you dig deeper, it's really how it works. The design of the Mac wasn't what it looked like, although that was part of it. Primarily, it was how it worked. To design something really well, you have to get it. You have to really grok what it's all about. It takes a passionate commitment to really thoroughly understand something, chew it up, not just quickly swallow it. Most people don't take the time to do that." - Steve Jobs.

It'll be good to see some PC manufacturers possibly getting better but still.

I build large amounts of PC's at my job and we often will order different cases than before.

The Silverstone cases that were mentioned, sure they are very nice cases, but in comparison to my G5 that has millimeter thick real aluminum casing it pales in comparison.
Sure it(The Silverstone) case looks cool, but actually getting up close to it it just looks cheaper than something made of real(er) metal.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
