When you combine the projector technology with a laser projected keyboard http://www.laser-keyboard.com/ you will have a nice mobile workstation. Most people don't need all the resources of a computer for writing a email/txt message or sending a photo.
That brings to mind another couple situations where this would be more usable, as you get higher megapixel camera's on phones and more storage you will want a way to show them to people (probably). Also games would be nice to play on a larger screen.

"I've found myself using my PC for a lot of conversations lately, and I'm also considering recording a podcast to share with anyone who will listen. There are tons of USB headset / microphones out there, and I'm hoping someone has some solid recommendations based on experience. I'll consider both headsets and standalone mics, by the way, but I'd like to keep the bill under $100 if possible. Help!"
