Works like a charm on my 1st generation Blackjack on AT&T. I watched an episode of LIFE from HULU website with waiting while my car was serviced last week. Nice!
not that a picture like that is anything we should pin our hopes on, but THAT device
looks a lot better than the EPIX.
1) it's black;
2) it's matte, and not a shiny fingerprint magnet;
3) it looks a fair bit thinner.

I say bring it on.

Of course knowing how long it takes for these things to arrive in the usa, we should expect
this to be released stateside (if ever) sometime around next June....
I think these are AT&T names.

Also, to the person who thinks there are too many WinMo phones on AT&T,go to your local store and say taht. You'll not see so many. Thewre are only 2 new phones in the last year or so. Since the iPhone, AT&T has been far behind the bell-curve on WimNo phones. Verizon has the juice now.
So, is the guts of the OMNIA i900 without the "touch-screen"? Interesting...
Slide 55 is the juicy one. You can see it directly by clicking here: http://www.mobilegadgetnews.com/index.php?showtopic=11890&pid=50956&st=0&#entry50956

Of course roadmaps are not set in stone. But seeing this does give one a feeling that Windows Mobile is very well positioned to take leverage Moore's Law as mobile devices double in horsepower every 18 months. We're just a year or two away from a 1,000 MHz PDA/Smartphone.

Combined with the release of Microsoft Office Communicator Mobile (http://www.mobilegadgetnews.com/index.php?showtopic=11884) the bar has just been raised.

These are exciting times. :-)
AJ - I think the difference is in the size (thickness) of the device. The pictures -- of whatever device this is -- show a slimmer profile. And this is a move in the right direction as the Treo 700w is a bit on the heavy and plump side of things compared to the what else is available today. And, look - no antennae! Nothing to stick into your side anylonger. And, one can hope for more available memory too. The Treo 700w is a bit miserly in what it leaves the user. I hope that helps. If you want, read more about it here: http://www.mobilegadgetnews.com/index.php?showtopic=11832
Wednesday was a day of "leaked pictures of hot new devices" day.

So far we've seen Treo "Hollywood" (or maybe not...) and also news of a Motorola Q picture on the Verizon website (which Verizon has now pulled..). And lets not forget the leaked pictures of the HTC Breeze: http://www.mobilegadgetnews.com/index.php?showtopic=11838

Quite a day!

If you want to keep yuor neighbors off of your networks and your employees off of neighboring networks, you need to look at WiFi Watchdog from Newbury Networks in Boston, MA.

It is a software product that leverages existing Cisco WiFi infrastructure you may already have and will ensure your employees stay on only your Wi-Fi network, and keep other neighboring Wi-Fi users off of your network. The WiFi Watchdog software runs on a central server and can even work to separate your WLANs from neaighboring WLANs even if your business occupies non-contiguous floors in a building (eg., 3rd, 10th & 25th).

It's quite simple to use, and when tested by a special squadron of the US Airforce that specializes in electronic warfare, they couldn't hack it.

Additionaly, it can real-time track the precise physical location of all devices in and around your facilities.

Based on what you describe, it's worth checking out.
Viruses on RFID chips could be a disaster if your WALMART.

If the virus impede the ability of the RFID to be tracked at a choke-point, or change its basic information, you have a serious mess in the making.

This is not good news at all.
Nothing like persistance, eh?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"With all the new multitouch capable monitors coming out, which one is the best? With the release of Windows 7 I really want a touchscreen monitor for my desktop. I'm looking to get a Full HD monitor that supports multitouch and can still look great during gaming and movies. Which one has the best specs for the price?"
