They are saying they are only going to return 4-10 KW (5-13 Hp) back into the engine. That's not a lot. They aren't claiming this is going to be a turbo booster where you mash the gas and your car takes off. When you are just cruising down the highway (NOT at 130) it only takes maybe 20-30 horsepower to keep your car moving along but your EGT (exhaust gas temperature is still high). Why couldn't you recover this waste heat? I worked on stirling cycle engines for several years and they sort of did the same thing using waste heat recovery.

I'm not saying this is a plausible idea mechanically with the additional parts or additional drivetrain loss but I would like to see it in action.
Downstream fuel injection and ignition. afterburners for your car.
You can't just buy an iPhone off of e-bay and pop your SIM in. It WILL NOT work. Believe me I tried. You have to activate the phone so it pairs to your SIM. Unless you use a third party program to activate the phone you will be extending your contract for 2 years.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
