WOW! For a moment I thought LG bought out Nokia for the E71 form factor. I hope Nokia goes to town on LG if they have patents for the design of their phone. This is pretty low of LG...they usually have very inventive phones, but this one is surely a rip off.
yeah..I prefer the horizontal keyboard also... I would gladly switch back to SK from my Nokia E71(just to cramped).... im hoping this makes its way to the UK
I am in agreement with Bob S here. I loved the OS of my blackberry but wasnt impressed with the ergonomics, was impressed with the functionality of my DASH(winmo 6) but hated the battery life and slow response of the OS... But alas..I am on my 4th Sidekick(slide) and love the way it feels, responds and NEVER crashes... Yes I do agree that for the most part it is intended for the hippity hoppity crowd. But I still get all my email, IM, Web and camera I need. So.... I cant complain other than the price tag(which I will get back when I sell it on ebay)... So no worrys!

I am in agreement, watching "VIDEO" is not a priority for me if I am not able to hit up Foxnews video, youtube or other streaming options... Not lookin to watch full length movies or shows(got my iPOD for that)
I think they need to get on Sprints arse and get them to expand their 3G into more areas. Verizon has EVDO in my area but Sprint doesnt, that killed it for me with the Ocean.
I owned the Ocean...and quite frankly was disappointed. Movies played choppy no matter what settings you converted them to, the HTML is actually Googlized for Mobiles(you can work around it, but why should I have to?), and you cant play music while doing other functions on the phone... Oh yeah, you need to type an IM? Well you just closed your browser and the page you were reading to do it.. there is NO multitasking on that phone at all. I went back to my BB pearl, where the only draw back is the suretype, and that isnt that hard to master. The iPHONE it is not that great either... EDGE on a $600 phone? wtf?! Not happening for me folks...no matter how much you iPansies love apple products.....I cant see why you would want this revision.
I am tired of seeing people complain that every new phone looks like the iPHONE. Look at all the phones that look like the RAZRS! This is just how phone designs are going, these phones were also in the pipeline well before the announcment of the iPHONE, so... maybe Apple doesnt keep secrets on there upcomming products like they should.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
