Let me begin by saying that i am one of those Walmart associates who just happens to work in the Connection Center since they have started having Connection Centers. To the individual with so much Walmart hatred above, I can also assure you that i have more than a 4th grade education and i do not work there for the money. I do it because it allows me to keep my hobby (electronics &technology) up to date and it also gives me something else to do for 4 hours. i have served my country for over 18 years and currently in State Government employ. Everyone working in their stores does not scrape the bottom of the barrel. However, written correspondence indicating such says more about the writer than the reader. I think most of you should be concentrating on the overwhelming activation process rather than the price of the phone to begin with. In addition, most consumers that get their phones at walmart, get them there because they are not being raped through their wallets over the pricing or the myriad of requirements AT&T stores have on their pricing tags up to and including the fact that there are no mail-in rebates in a connection center. Know the story, then complain. Otherwise, silence is really and truly golden!
This is a rip off of the Aargard M-10 which i have had for nearly a year now.
He didn't say anything about purchasing an unlocked handset, he dodged that question and was not pressed to clarify. He said you can buy a phone without a contract at the no-committtment price. Those phones are not unlocked! As an original blue customer who still has his account, I know for a fact that there are no unlocked phones in the stores. I am also a reseller, we definitely do not have any. Turns out he may be another liar like his predecessor.
Though i may not have won anything previously, i am still a winner in my own two eyes!
I played with one in my local cingular outfitted and AT&T logo'd store. Sexy products for sexy people like me!
One month has gone by and still; I can win absolutely nothing. Amazing! I hope to do this again soon, as it was ejoyable thinking I could actually win for even a hot second in time!
oh my goodness, what on earth will I do for a blackberry or should I say, Crackberry! My birthday is in two month, I finally turn 41 and I need a new gadget to help celebrate the occasion!
I would kill to get my hands on this phone as a prize. I had planned to purchase one, but everyone knows money doesn't grow on trees!
I thought the best thing that could happen to me this year was the purchase of XM radio. Now, today I stumble upon the chance to win a treo; now that is what I call an opportunity!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
