OMG FIRST THEY TAKE OUR JOBS THEN OUR PLAYSTATION ACCOUNTS!!!111

LOU DOBBS, PLEASE SAVE OUR PSN!
I think you're asking a bit much from a $5 game. If you paid $50 for it, I'd agree with you, but I think they priced it correctly for what it was- an interactive toy.

Really, what did you expect for $5, a full blown katamari-esque game? Use your brain.

It never takes long for caveman to lift up his skirt and show us his fangirl panties!
Because with fine specimens of intellectual superiority such as yourself on the 360, why even bother with anything else?

I'm sure you will be most useful in the advanced internet douchebag division. Surely with your relentless juvenile trolling skills you could disrupt North Korean message boards, sow social unrest and finally topple the authoritarian regime and liberate Asia and the world from one of its most dangerous rogue states.

Yeah, mine was too. I think they're just running a data mining racket over there.
Eh, it's called being an adult and making principled decisions about how you spend your money.

One day you might understand.
@mahouneko

I didn't think they would, but I'm just working with the hypothetical here.

@ Vcize

I understand your point Vcize, and I understand I am probably in the minority these days as far as what people expect/want from their online experiences. But when a company mandates I pay for a scope of services beyond what I require, just to gain access to what I consider a basic and essential functionality of a home console, then as a personal decision it's time for me to find a new hobby.

I don't see a need for improvement, at least not anything worth paying $30-$50 a year for.

I'm perfectly content to play my sports games online with friends and piss around on multiplayer kill-festivals. I'm not the kind of person who needs the trophy tracking, nor any elaborate communication systems to have a good time online.

If someone wants those features, god bless, they can pony up the cash for it and enjoy. But if they leave the basic connectivity intact, then that's all I need from my console. But that's just me.
Forget just not playing online. I will sell my PS3 and quit console gaming if they ever implement a charge for online multiplayer. I enjoy playing games, but not enough to get milked like that. It may seem a bit drastic, but that's the line in the sand I draw for myself.

We already pay enough for games that whatever they need to do to create an online infrastructure to support it should be included in that price. I'm not paying extra to access a component of a game that I already paid for.
Now, now, be gentle. The Lord blesses us with different quantities of intellectual capacity. Whylekat's may be shallower than most farm animals-nevertheless he is still one of God's creatures, bless his soul.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
