ubi de feo the light on my magsafe went off too! It's crazy how we all are having the same problems, can you say recall?
Hey, this happened to me exactly how he showed it about 2 days ago and I didn't "abuse" my cord I take good care of my macbook. I don't wrap my cord or anything I just heard a loud popping sound come out of my room and when I went in there the adaptor was on fire with blue flame shooting out. I'm glad I'm not the only one thought I'd be out 79 bucks.
xbox 360, ps3, and the nintendo wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!!!!!!!!!!!!
#10 I meant run the country in regards to Corporate power not government and Tony your definately a nerd I mean really who says "doth"? Also if you were only doing this for "research" you wouldn't have checked to see if someone commented about your previous comment. Anyway I wont be fueling this fire anymore, after all I only come on Joystiq to look find out news not talk to losers like you, your probably some pimpled faced 14 year-old anyway .
#6 I don't get it why did you have to tell us how many women you sleep with? No one cares and no one wants to know. Moving on, what professional athlete writes for "Men's Health" and who would write and article about the growing nerd problem?. How is being a nerd a problem? Hopefully whenever you pull your brain out your ass you'll finally realize that nerds are actually the ones that run this country and this is coming from someone who isn't a nerd. Get a life and do something useful and maybe and maybe you'll stop repeating repeating what you write what you write.
Hey how do you think this is pronounced? Vo-chay or Vo-say?

Dear Engadget,

Please stop using the phrase "take this with a grain of salt", is it me or is it getting annoying?

Sincerely,

D. Reader
Who would shell out $500-1800 for those huge monstrousities of electronics when in about six months they will be half the size and most likely half the price? In order to compete Sony will have to price the PS3 at around $400-$700 max, yes they may operate at a loss but as we've already seen with the PSP Sony is willing to do what it takes to grab big piece of the market. The PS3 looks about half the size of the regular players, they look like vcrs, I wouldn't allow any of them to be in my living room as part of my home theater. I'm pretty sure they don't have to cost that much or to be that big or ugly, until then I'll keep my money.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
