well said HV, just to inform you guys (we live in Jamaica), miphone is shifting most of its technology from cdma to gsm as it did not go very well here using cdma. as for the iphone being a hot-seller here, it probably won't work out as jamaicans are very attached to their providers, especially Digicel. the good news is that Digicel didn't get the iPhone as rumoured, so in the end the consumer will probably win or come out ahead. we'll keep you posted as we get more info...
You need to use a program like 'iBrickr' to Jailbreak the phone. Google it and you can find it all over the web. Instructions will be there on how to use the program, although it's fairly easy to use.
Add Cable & Wireless Jamaica to the list! I tried using Digicel Jamaica but no luck so far, but thanks for the constant updates and keep up the good work.
definitely feeling this new promo and congrats to the team for adding engadget mobile to the family!

"I've found myself using my PC for a lot of conversations lately, and I'm also considering recording a podcast to share with anyone who will listen. There are tons of USB headset / microphones out there, and I'm hoping someone has some solid recommendations based on experience. I'll consider both headsets and standalone mics, by the way, but I'd like to keep the bill under $100 if possible. Help!"
