Pick me! I'm a poor, starving student and I really want Windows 7!
That's very interesting. Human vision has a real-world limit of about 300 ppi in both the X & Y axis at a standard reading distance. This screen easily exceeds that. I didn't expect this to happen for some time. With any luck they will be able to scale this technology for larger displays.

Where did they get 546 ppi in the original post? I got ~550 ppi (550.7267925 ppi, to be more exact).
I need one of these so bad!
"covering about 196 people in all"

Did you mean to say "covering about 196 million people in all" instead?
Oh, I need one of these bad. Help out a poor, starving med. student!
I really don't like this, I much prefer the attached keyboard of the Universal.

I think HTC made a big mistake with this design.
How does the Herald relate to the Hermes (the successor to the Wizard)? Is it the successor to the Hermes, is it the CDMA version of the Hermes for Verizon/Sprint, or did they just rename the Hermes to Herald?
A Toshiba branded ink pen?
Crossbow isn't Windows Mobile 6.0

If you check the PowerPoint that I provided the link for, which is linked in your previous article on Crossbow/Photon, you will see on slide 55 that Windows Mobile 5.0 & Photon are both listed as "Platform RTM", while Crossbow is clearly listed as an "Add-On RTM". Obviously, a new Windows Mobile version release wouldn't be called an "Add-On".

I think it’s far more likely that Crossbow is going to be "Windows Mobile 5.0 Second Edition (SE)"
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
