Ooohh, pretty.
I really think Avatar could be something great. It seems to me like James Cameron wants to set up a universe like the Star Wars universe with a movie or two and a set of books and games and serious lore. If they can do something like that then I can see myself really getting into this.
I tried to do this recently and uninstall World of Warcraft from my computer but something's wrong with the game and in order to uninstall it I have to install it again. Problem is I can't find my CDs...
Agree 100%.
I'm one of those weird people that read Massively but don't play any MMOs. I used to, of course; I'm just not interested any more (though LotRO will always hold a special place in my heart). But for anyone with a passion for MMOs I can't imagine a job more interesting than this.

I look forward to reading whatever the new recruit has to post so long as they know how to mix MMO news with a ton of snark.
Sounds like you haven't read too much about the game.

You don't want to play it because it doesn't have the traditional leveling system of previous MMOs? Because you feel as though you won't get a sense of accomplishment or won't become attached to your character? Is that a joke? You sound too easily placated.
By the power of Google (and reading the comments above me)! It's Samorost!
I've played a game that looks like this. You're some guy trying to stop something from hurtling through space into your home. Anyone know what I'm talking about?
No Grim Fandango?
Yaris.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
