Well said,

The worst part about this is its ridiculous to charge $15. I pay for up to 5gb of data on my phone, what it matter if its on a Phone or a tethered laptop?
I feel you on the trusting MS updates, they keep trying toupdate my LAN driver in my server. Each time that happens it becomes inoperable. Nonethe less every couple of months a new driver comes out that does the same thing.
IS anyone having trouble with the msmpeng.exe service? I decided to give this a try, but the a formentioned service is hovering around 80-99% usage intermittently.

The problem happens on a copy on Vista business and on an install of Vista ultimate. I guess this is how MS plans on stopping viruses on your ocmputer- you cant use it!

seriously, the entire system comes to a halt to wait for this exe do finish doing whatever its doing. sometimes its 5 minutes, sometimes if 5 hours. Ridiculous.
Dear GOD i hope VZ doesnt Screw up the PRE and make it look like your pic.
It seems outrageous yes, but this was the price of the Touch pro on Verizon 8 months ago.
GAH i read too fast and thought LEO was coming to Verizon.
In their defense they are trying to gradually move away from stylus driven navigation. I agree though, as it stand there is a great deal of need to switch from finger (convenience) to stylus (precision).
As godawfully ugly as it is, its about time MS realized that these devices are used more and more often with your finger. Welcome to 2009 MS.

I cant wait to try these buttons out, now if MS could just eliminate the random lag/ freezing I'd be happy.
I'm more worried about breaking this phone when its in my pocket. Its definitely long.

I'm also worried about the horrible things Verizon will do with the UI when it gets a hold of this phone.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
