Whether or not she said it, I hope to god that she CAN see Alaska from her house.
"docking stations are all but dead outside of the enterprise"

Really? I wish there was a semi-affordable docking station for my Macbook (it's currently in a homemade vertical stand) to the point that I'm just going to use a combo of a milling machine and a laser cutter (going to school for engineering ftw) to make a combo monitor stand/laptop dock/keyboard tuckaway thing.

I am a very lazy person. The fact that I will go to that much trouble to save myself the inconvenience of plugging in a ton of cords daily says something...
I finally have a badass waterproof mount for my bike, but try as I might, I can't find a semi-reasonable way to get music and GPS directions over bluetooth. There are kits out there to adapt helmets, but I don't care about slapping a mic on my face, I just need some speakers.
I agree on this being dumb, but could see it being useful in the sense that you could buy one of these devices, disassemble it, and try to incorporate it into the device sans wires.

WOULDN'T THAT BE FUN?
Several people tried to be funny... Startup chime guy was the only one that succeeded.
Er, woops. That was supposed to be a reply to Sean.
Yep, they're 9.5mm. What I'm wondering is how much room there is when replacing the optical drive in the unibodies, as I'd love to add one of these as a secondary drive.
It's a play on words (I assume):

Blackberry Loves You Too.
Saw this on their Twitter earlier and was pumped.

My 3GS should be arriving in the mail within an hour or two so this certainly comes in handy, haha.
Really hoping that they've added Bluetooth volume control...

I just bought a pair of Sony bluetooth earbuds for about $100, and quickly discovered that you can't adjust the output volume on the iPhone... Since the earbuds don't have a volume control, this is kind of a problem...

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
