to update with this (if you arent jailbroken) you hold shift (same with mac, i dont remember their name for shift tho), and click Update, itll bring up a file explorer, find your file and boom

if your jailbroken... you may want to wait for an update from them before you update your itouch/iphone, i didnt even update itunes they might get picky... who knows
is this slim? who cares! i want it!

Will it blend???
Dear Engadget, I say we make a post only for Microsoft vs. Apple wars...

"Ladies and Gentlemen, Let's get ready to rumble!"

There needs to be a spot for this, it happens a lot.
Jim, you got owned... and I don't even own a mac

I'm pretty much for both of them, Microsoft because the market and everything has shifted in their direction... also I love macs not only for style, but being so damn stable. Woot for both!?

I have to admit, I love the iPhone, Leopard, hell even OS10... yet I don't own either one

I like being able to slowly upgrade my PC part by part, I hate the feeling of buying one system and pretty much only being able to upgrade the hdd and ram (I hope I'm wrong, that that's all you can upgrade)
How about this one.

What if I were to download TV shows from the internet, tv shows of which I can get from my cable TV. It would be exactly like using a TiVo, but making somebody else do my work... is this legal? I do understand that it is sketchy, but I would like to watch my tv shows whenever I want.

Also, what the heck is up with TV advertisements? Why do I get advertisements on something I freakin' pay for... especially watch a good show for about 6-8 minutes, then see commercials for 2-6 minutes... that's so much crap... which is why I ordered myself a TV tuner for my PC. =)
what is this to provide a whole 5 seconds of flight-time?
This reminds me of the simpsons, where they try to boost NASA's TV ratings for the space launches. They send a blue-collar man into space. (Which ends up being homer) One of the jokes I liked the most was when there was a problem with the ship, and they didn't know what was happening because all the equipment in the control room was only to monitor TV ratings.

I hope curtis didnt check the "E-mail me when someone replies to this comment" box. He would have to hire a team of chinese workers to empty his inbox every 30 seconds!

All you lucky people with your fancy Xbox 360's, wanting another... sheesh =P
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
