I don't know I see this as being a really good carputer. I know it's overdone but some really cool stuff could be done with this it's not like it couldn't interface with the OBD stuff and CAN stuff. 500MHz is plenty to toy with as an ECU

I know how this feels I just got my Type R Integra and poof the day before I graduate from College and it's gone. I knew I'd never see it again. Hell I know it's a million little pieces everywhere.

I can't wait for this thing either, I've got an upgrade coming up and my Treo is getting itchy to be sold on eBay to pay for the rest and maybe some accesories. For the Mac OS X and so on people out there there is a great program that makes any PPC phone compatible with our friend iSync. I don't remember what it is exactly called sorry guys, but the Geek at the Apple store will definetly know. It took me a while to figure out how it works but it worked great for my PPC stuff when i did have it.

I dunno about the switch not going to Dodge. There were a lot of cities that sued ford over the exploding gas tank. Dallas (where I'm from) went though and changed all of their Crown Vics new and old to Stratus and Impalas. It's not hard to see this city staying out of the new crown vic. I've also seen the suburbs of this area cruzin' aroud with Durangos, Magnums and Chargers way before the NY Police took their order. Just sayin' it's gonna be interestin' now that the other companies are beein' looked at again.

Yea,I think you're right it's still in dev. it's gotta have a casing and if it's usb I'm wondering if you could extend it off with a cable to make it look better for like a car mount
