No, didn't read it. I would still rather have a top or bottom load with a flip up sunshield.
Looks like an early model of a Tachikoma.
p.s. I'd like to see this in black with an inverted OLED screen (black background, light letters/numbers/icons).
Okay, Jonathan's link above gives a better idea. It's not too much bigger and it does look like you don't have to open it to answer it. I'm guessing there's a button on the side to answer calls and the OLED screen will display callerID info.
I was never clear on this, but I'm assuming it's a phone since I see the "Phone" button on the screen. It just seems difficult to hold to talk with (N-Gage anyone?) and do you have to open it to answer it? I'd like to see some pics of someone holding it so I can get a better idea of the proportions.
This is horrible. XDA is the best place to go to learn anything about Windows Mobile and now MS is forcing them to take it down. All they did was make WM5 BETTER by incorporating hacks and fixes that make it work tons better and more efficiently. Now we'll never see fixes from Cingular or HTC because they don't seem to care about updating or fixing anything.

MS is ruining a great community, but you can bet your ass this isn't going to end here.
They had a similar phone for Cingular I think last year or the year before. It was one I was looking at getting after I had my razr for a while and before the 8125 came out (if I have my timeline correct). The problem with the Cingular Samsung phone is that the hinge didn't feel sturdy and was a rather large to hold while for texting.

duh you'd get it for the MLS championship!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
