Something along the lines of:
got a civil union, with a marriage pending legislation currently on the floor of the New York senate...
I can't believe they got rid of My Name is Earl and put this mess on instead. I've watched all the episodes of Community so far and it does nothing for me. Along with Parks and Recreation (which I find only so-so) I find there is nothing to keep me watching NBC for the first hour of Thursday night TV. I think Kath and Kim was even starting to find it's stride before it was cancelled.
Because that is the mountain that is closest to the equator and the earth is not perfectly round. It is actually a slight oval so the mountains further away from the equator are a little closer to the center of the earth.
The BIXI bikes are great! I have a one year membership for $78. I have a small pass card so I can use them whenever. Even though I have a bike sometimes I am in a situation where I can't take my bie home with me in the afternoon. The next morning instead of taking the bus to work I walk across the street and grab a BIXI bike. At the work end of my trip there is a BIXI stand a block away.

There are also weekly rates. This is a great idea and you see BIXI bikes all over town. The only downside is that no helmets are available. I usually carry my helmet with me if I leave my bike at work so that I am wearing a helmet when I use the BIXI the next day.
I came across the GPS drawing of a flight from Berlin to London several years ago when I first got a hand held GPS unit. You can see a 3D rendition of the holding pattern:

They also have it plotted out over a map of the London area.
Quebec City is actually the capital of Quebec.

That being said, a comedian once quiped at the Just For Laughs festival in Montreal: "Imagine if you have two brothers - one's a drunken womanizer, and the other's an accountant - that's the difference between Montreal and Toronto.
I was at Balmer's on my first backpack/Eurail trip through Europe in 1984. I stayed there mainly because I heard that every Sunday night they showed the Sound of Music movie to an overflow crowd. It was a gas as everyone hissed every time the Baroness came on screen and did other audience participation fun. I remember having an ice cream sundae there which tasted so good after being on the road for many weeks. Every time I hear the main theme from The Deer Hunter (a beautiful guitar solo) it takes me back to there as I remember waking up to hearing that one morning. Oh yes, there was the drunken revelry also! :-)

I proudly wore my McGill University sweatshirt.....

I visited this museum about 8 years ago and it was great! It's like you stepped into a Victorian attic. You can spend hours looking through all the nooks and crannies, pulling open drawers, discovering little corners. Such a diverse collection of stuff. A very fun museum.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
