I hope the CEO will understand that some of us have been Palm users for 10 years with the availability of the 1Mb Palm Pilot Professional, and have since spent thousands of dollars on hardware and software supporting this great platform. Some of us, including this author, are increasingly drawn to more reliable devices like the BlackBerry. I would have to say that if poor phone, delay in processing, and general sluggishnes of my 700p is not resolved with a ROM upgrade or new model, I would be ending my 10-year relationship with Palm.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
