I never win any of these contests :(
I would like one please. :) I love you engadget.
Many drug tests only test for the presence of methamphetamine or amphetamine.

There are LOTS of drugs out there, (including ecstasy), that will cause you to test positive for meth, as they are almost identical molecularly in nature.

*From Wikipedia* - MDMA (3,4-methylenedioxymethamphetamine), it even contains the molecule.

I'm not making an accusation of ANY sort of drug use, but I think dropping a pill, once in a while, and hitting the pipe are much different in nature.

Damnit, this kicks my FW out of the water, except for the full 1080p display, AND I paid almost $300 more for it 6 months ago. :(.

Maybe I can toss it up on ebay and pick up this lil number. I don't mind the smaller screen, for the extra grunt.
omg! thank you! (still using .75).

If this is bareble I may wait out my upgrade until verizon snags the iphone or the pre.
If this OS is anything like the last one, no thanks. Still running .76, not gonna mess with leaked FWs.

Don't get me wrong, this is a great phone, does everything I want in a phone, its just painful to do it.
The Iphone at the time of the Storm release didnt do some pretty major stuff. With the release of 3.0, it will pretty much shore things up on the feature list, in addition to the possibility of new hardware.

Chances are I'll be heading back there anyway. The whole reason I jumped from an Iphone to begin with, was no mms, no navigation, no video, no copy paste, shitty camera. That's going to be fixed for the most part, I guess we'll see how well its implemented.
I'm still using the ancient firmware, and I can't wait for an update, I honestly just dont want to mess with something not fully supported. I'll deal with it until it comes out.

Honestly, I'm not too happy verizon is coming out with the Storm 2 next month, when they havent even released a new update for this damn phone in a while.

I'm sure the new Iphone or the Pre will do just nicely.
I'm about to ditch my storm because I refuse to use a leaked firmware.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
