2 problems encountered:

Airplane mode - I turned it on, and the battery was nearly drained in 5hours.

Also, tried to redeem a free song in iTunes, and it's stuck on "processing" (rebooting, or re-logging into iTunes didn't help)

"I know it's impossible to say what I'm about to without sounding like a grumpy old man, but here it comes anyway. For me, the tremendous thing isn't that Apple has commandeered the market so handily, it is the rate at which the distribution model has evolved."

Umm.. yeah.. it only took 50years for the industry to change. (and they're still kicking and screaming about it)
You people need to get out more.

Here's a good example:
You go social with some people at a bar, the total bill is say $133, with tax.

Your portion comes to $37 before tax.

To get 15% ..
$3.70 + 1/2 of $3.7 = your tip.

Now add your portion of the sales tax, which could be what, 3%? 7%? 14%?

Now do that after a few.

Either stir-fried and braised with pork (chinese style), or in aloo gobi (indian spiced cauliflower, potatoes, and onions).

Yum.

Steamed cauliflower is heinous!
Leftover chicken, spicy bbq tomato sauce, smoked mozzarella, bacon and caramelized onions made for a really good leftovers pizza.

If you watch closely (or from your PVR or a re-run) you'll notice at the end of the show during the credits, the producers have a say on who wins or loses throughout the show.

So in "reality" the winners throughout the season and maybe the finale, was in part led along the way by the producers.

As for Park's analysis.. I'd have to say he's way off on just about everything except the annoying product placement.

Padma is there because she's a good host, and from reading the interviews with the former contestants they also mention she's very knowledgeable.

Drama is what draws you into the show, it IS a reality show. Having a personal connection to the contestants makes you watch, and cheer for your favourite, and jeer your villain. It makes for good TV. If you ever watch a "real" cooking competition, it's BORING.

Maybe he didn't notice either, Toby Young wasn't there to take Tom's place.. he was filling in for Gail Simmons.

Soap is a big no no. The whole idea of seasoning your pan is to create a super thin layer of oils and whatnot in your pan so the surface becomes less rough and easier to cook on, and non-stick-ish.

After cooking, scrub with a brush and hot water. Give it a quick wipe down, put it back on the stove top to dry out any moisture, and give it a quick drop of vegatable oil (not olive) and wipe it out.

Pre-seasoned pans are smoother and be used pretty much right away. Un-seasoned ones have a rougher surface, and will take longer to get that well-seasoned smooth sheen.

It's definitely for visual appeal. As they say we eat with our eyes.

But, that being said, it has no bearing on taste. The perfect burger should have the perfect balance of meat and bun + fixings. It should have a nice bit of messiness, and you should be able to take bites without dislocating your jaw.

It's not rocket science, but the simplest things are the hardest to perfect.

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
