Which Linux do you mean? Which version? And which model your wireless adapter? I had no any problem with Red Hat Linux and many laptops with wireless adapter.
Same problem is in my family too. Shark backpacks it's real decision for resolving it.
Something like "London Photo Treasure Hunt" we've got in our city, the game which is called "Snapshot". Many teams get tasks and than walk around the city and take photos depending on the tasks. After 8 hours they come back and give the photos to jury.
Thank you for information. I had a big problem with my laptop when I tried to setup a wireless card. I love Linux and hate Windows. But I couldn't find any drivers for my wireless card. Now I changed card to another and it works excellent.
