at&t now launches all phones on sunday's...the 1st and 3rd sunday of every month to be exact, unless the first sundays just happens to be the first of the month.
this is a gsm phone...you'll have to wait until whenever verizon decides to launch the updated version of the Tour with wifi, which should've been the one released in the first place. although i'm not sure if that one will have the trackpad or not, i can't remember if it's been said if it will have it yet
you do realize att had around 75 million customers when they got the iPhone right? they will have android soon enough, along with a palm device and they will always have some of the best blackberry's and winmo devices. they've gone out and gotten the Garmin...like it or not it's a decent phone and the price will come down on that and be a good seller. when is the last time verizon has carried a nokia pda? fact is, att has always been the company with the best phones without a doubt...the only thing missing right now is android and there really hasn't been a stellar android device launched yet.
funny how at&t gets blasted on this site for anything they do and has about 150 post within an hour...they announce an awesome deal like this and there aren't even 10 post...
actually it's not the same network. pay as you go, which this is considered only uses at&t towers...it doesn't roam on other companies towers. the eastern half of the country is pretty much the same, but the western half is much different.
how about just clicking the picture...
what part of this do you people not understand? you don't have to pay a monthly fee if you don't want to, they simply give you the option if you want to have unlimited calls while using the device or you can just use your regular monthly plan and pay for nothing but the device itself.
this is hilarious to read...all the hate for at&t, but when verizon does the same thing they get praised for it. stop hating on at&t so much for no reason and get a life...i mean seriously what verizon does at&t does, what at&t does verizon does...with the exception of rollover minutes and a cheaper prepaid unlimited plan. you losers need to wake up and realize that at&t is no more expensive than verizon is and if verizon had a phone like the iPhone their network would be just as crippled because of the data use
why don't people blame RIM for this? at&t doesn't make the software...
don't you think this would be on RIM's shoulders...not at&t? i mean at&t isn't the one that makes the software...
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
