Agreed, why in the world would the Canon SD/Elph series be excluded from a review like this?

I just got a new SD790IS - metal body, 10 megapixel, rechargeable battery that lasts forever, and the best combination of picture and video quality I have seen in something this compact.

Good riddance. I had one of these running GoodLink, which took all but about 5 MB of the ROM, and it was the absolute worst piece of electronics I had ever used. Couldn't answer calls and had to pull over to make them...

Next time, HTC, how about spending the 50 cents to triple the memory to 256 MB so that the $400 phone can function?

Great job with the site, guys. Also the best podcast on technology product.

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.

"I've found myself using my PC for a lot of conversations lately, and I'm also considering recording a podcast to share with anyone who will listen. There are tons of USB headset / microphones out there, and I'm hoping someone has some solid recommendations based on experience. I'll consider both headsets and standalone mics, by the way, but I'd like to keep the bill under $100 if possible. Help!"
