OMG.. Why isn't he dead yet...Like the other Fossils of Print media. He hasn't learned that u can't make money restricting content..ony by providing Value added content. Thats his problem.. he wants the web to run like his obsolete news empire. He will never learn and things will never change until all the old guard wither and die. Half his crappy stories are Just regurgitated AP posts anyway.
The discount will be nice because.. it will probably work better on a new machine.. and building one costs a bit of scratch...
Thank the gods... finally a htpc keyboard that doesn't use a separate gyro pointer.. or a crappy nubbin(MICROSOFT!!).. or a badly made trackball... I wondered why it was so hard to build a keybord with a freaking trackpad... the fact its multitouch is just gravy... Oh wow.. its not 100 bucks + ( LOGITECH!!!) kepping my message short.. gonna order right now!!
That was sweet... When you get invited on stage ...best not to make it rain on someone called pitbull..YOu might be able to pull that on an NKOTB member...HaHa. Best not to mess with a Cuban. I am glad it didn't effect the concert at all. You Hillbillies don't say anything when Toby Keith goes into the audience after a guy..YEEHAH!!! Thanks for the sweet clip TMZ!!
This car grew on me.. I was kinda dissappointed in the fact that it looked to me like a squat Golf instead of more like the Corrado update everyone I knew was hoping for, but It just keeps getting better and better looking all the time. That is a hallmark of a good design.. Anywho.. I refused to get on to the VW rollercoaster of on again and off again availability, but not bringing it here is a mistake.. sure VW would not have sold a 100K of them but it was a lot better bet than the Rutan..(which I like..in a weird way). The other thing is it isnt always about the 0-60.. the hardcore guys who want hyper 0-60 times usually are uninsurable or 16..lol.. or they can't afford a Rabbit(Golf) let alone a Scirocco. The few of us who can afford it want it because of more than just the 0-60 time.. I can get a beater CR-x and drop in a vtec turboed NOS'd engine on slicks with a coffee can exhaust that can do it in 4.5 seconds lol but really do you want to own it just because of that?
It's weird for all the calls I receive from them, They won't sell me a warranty... they just hang up quickly... I tell them that I own 2 cars and I didn't know I had a warranty left on them.. They get all excited and ask me to tell them both models so they can check which car was the one with the renewable warranty.. this is where it gets strange...I tell them I have a 1982 Chevy citation and a 1974 Ford mavrick... and they just hang up.. I was just about to pull out my credit card too.. The maverick needs a new exhaust system..I was using flexible ducting I found on the street till I can afford a muffler from the junk yard...
Now the government has gone and stopped them telemarketers before I could get my extended Warranty!!!! Damn Obama administration... Nixon or Bush woulda never stuck there noses into my affairs.

Anyway I'm off to home depot for some rolls of plastic to cover the hole in the roof of my Double wide... Who says you cant fix yer own problems...
MY old commodore was the first thing to pop into my head when I heard about the eee keyboard. Now if only someone modded an old 1541 with a usb cd drive.. now that would be kool!! I don't have any use for it currently..but I'm still gonna order it.
This Reboot is no different than the mulitudes of Alt universe Star trek novels.. It is just another branch on the franchise like TNG or DS9. It doesn't negate any of the last 40+ years.. They will still exist in their own timeline. I thought it was a brilliant way to do it, so the trekkies(like me) would not be angered by the changes to the Canon.

Also in the future, Nokia is the only communications company to survive WWIII everyone know that!!
My issue with this stunt... and it is a stunt.. is um do we really need an all solar boat.. It's not like we didn't have eco-friendly options on the high seas...We have been using wind power since 3000BC.. Also how good for the environment is it really...? What kind of energy storage are we looking at for all the electricity it will need when its dark..Heaven forbid they hit a storm or hurricane. Ever notice how dark it gets in a hurricane movie? Then in the ultimate doomsday scenario, lets say the boat ends up sinking.. and all those exotic batteries and composites sink to the bottom of the ocean... what kind of havoc will it reek on the ecosystem surrounding the wreck. old fashioned timber based Sailboat sinks and we get a wreck with a small carbon footprint sitting on the bottom waiting for Jacques Cousteau's great grandson to find it..Everything does not have to be made or modified Solar. how about a solar tractor or a solar bike... maybe a solar blimp.. ahhhI got a good one, solar hot air balloon. I am just saying Green is ok.. but coming up with a solar alternative for solar's sake is just kinda a waste of energy..Rant done.
wow..it looks like the GMC guys had a Kegger.. and thought a jeep compass and an escalade would make an excellent mash up... um..I through up in my mouth...I say bancruptcy is the onlything that might save the 5 people who might buy this from doing so.. Actually worse than the Aztek... It's make the Aztek look forward thinking... UG---LEEEE
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
