Ohh Ohhh Mr. Kotter, Mr. Kotter!!!

Pick Me! Pick Me!
Which program allows you to run your VM off an external drive? It doesn't appear that Fusion does...
My GPS has been a bit flakey since I got the iPhone, but since applying the 2.01 update it's gotten noticeably worse.

The phone has been having problems locating itself. Before the 2.01 update, rebooting the phone would resolve the issue now that doesn't work.

I found a thread from last month in the Apple Support forums that mentioned turning 3G off until the phone gets a fix and then turning it back on. That resolved the problem when I couldn't get a fix yesterday. Haven't had another issue yet, but I'm sure one is coming.

What's really frustating is that there is no way to access signal information. It's impossible to tell if the problem is actually signal related because you're someplace that just doesn't have a clear view of enough satellites or if there is something else going on... That small piece of info would at least tell me if the GPS was malfunctioning or if I just needed to move...
Heck I want not just the ability to bring a bottle of water through security - but also the ability to go through security WITHOUT having to unpack my laptop! The lines would move much more smoothly if they could come up with a way to screen passengers without forcing them to unpack their bags...
If I remember correctly, this was the plot of some Stephen King novel. Something he wrote two years or so ago, and was only available online.
Has the iPhone even hit the FCC for approval yet?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
