Such Sprint haters. Now that Sprint offers the same product as AT&T and Verizon, but cheaper, it isn't worth it. When AT&T and Verizon were the only ones doing it, but charging $199 for the machine, where was the "is it worth it" article?

For an Engadget user, maybe it isn't worth it. For many consumers it is a deal.
You miss the point. The point isn't that the machines are comparable it is that Apple doesn't give you a choice and when another company tries Apple sues them. Microsoft understands that if they let many different manufacturers install their OS then they can be very successful.

Apple does make great machines and many people like the OS but the cost deters them. Let them get OS X on a $1000 HP and then they wouldn't have to look at these commercials and whine.
There is an app called PhoneFlix that also does that. I've had it on my iPod Touch for a few months now.
Look for a bunch of phones coming from Sprint on 10/19 including the Touch Pro.
Happy Birthday! Where is the party? I'll bring the cake!
That same picture is in this month's Best Buy magazine, but they called it the N810.
If I could hang that above my current dual monitor setup, it would bring a tear to my eye.
This really has nothing to do with Sarbanes-Oxley Act. It has to due with people are willing to pay the $15 becasue they have no other choice. Apple is good at one thing, and that is making money. Why do you think they sell their mp3 players for 2x the price of any other company?
Well, your information is not quite accurate. There is indeed a set of buttons that if pressed during activation can render the device DOA. All service centers were told if they saw one of these units to swap the device.

The LG Rumor is currently shipping in the blue/black color and is still out of stock in the white/silver color. Both colors including the new green color are all expected to be in stock in the next 2 weeks for ordering from all channels.
They announced the Pink Centro to dealers and Sprint employees last month.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
