Can anyone say, "Class Action Lawsuit"? You just KNOW somebody will try it, justified or not. After all, when has justification had anything to do with filing a law suit?
The publicity black eye is bad enough. T-Mo's lame offer of a month of data credit is an insult. Of COURSE they have to give a months credit for data - because they haven't provided any! What do they intend to offer for the loss of data and time/trouble of the users who lost everything by trusting these tossers?
"Caught on camera, but turned off?" That thing could be a painted block of wood for all we can tell. It could be running a pirated version of Windows Mobile. Who knows?
What, a re-hash of an old phone needs it's own name and marketing?! It's a freakin' Curve with orange paint! C'mon Sprint, wake up and smell the coffee! And the timing is über-lame too. Like everyone has said, we need this on the launch of the Tour?! No wonder why Sprint is in such disarray. They're morons!
Sweet! I've been trying to sell some old phones to raise the cash to pick one of these up myself, and nobody wants my old junkers. This could be just the ticket! :)
Tech1: "OK, load the program." Tech 2: "Done. Waiting for data base to initialize." Tech 1: "Start the process." Tech 2: "Not responding." Sequoia: "Get stuffed you two. I'm taking the morning off."
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
Now that we've thrown 'em off the trail, use the form below to get in touch with the people at Engadget. Please fill in all of the required fields because they're required.
