The iPod Mini is my favorite iPod, so this is my favorite Engadget post: http://www.engadget.com/2005/02/23/the-6gb-ipod-mini/
I would like these speakers.
Actually, it doesn't appear that we are grandfathered in. This Netflix blog post suggests that the new fees will be applied to existing accounts, too, starting next month:

"If you have added Blu-ray access to your account, this change will take effect on your next billing date on or after April 27, 2009. You will also receive an email from us letting you know the monthly charge for your plan. (Members who do not have Blu-ray access today and add it to their account in the future will see the new prices as of today.)"

Um, I think that's what the extra fee is for, dude.
I'm getting the same message, so it appears that current customers who are already paying the $1 surcharge will not have to pay the higher rates.* That's good news, and should be featured more prominently (both in this story and in the eventual Netflix press release/blog post on the subject).

* Unless this is a mistake, and Netflix ends up "correcting" it when it becomes public knowledge.
I want to go to there.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
