The main reason I would imagine Zer01 would do this is because of AT&T. Zer01 is going to be offering Unlimited everything, with no taxes and maybe even tethering for a much lower price then AT&T. So you can't as a company rely on only 1 carrier to service your customers. And from what I have read, the VoIP is "Suppose" to run equally well on slower data networks, but we won't know until they start offering service. But for the price, I can deal with glitches and errors until things are more established. Plus getting to use a PDA again is very well worth it! I miss being able to just surf the web as I choose to, not as a carrier tells me to.
Bas Rutten wouldn't say something so stupid! Kimbo got he *** handed to him by a no body months ago. Brock is getting a title shot! So there is a BIG DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE 2 FIGHTERS! Kimbo is a boring, ignorant, stereotypical, street thug. Where Brock actually trained to be a fighters and wrestler. So I don't think Bas Rutten is that dumb, unless he is getting some money out of the comment.
Nevermind David. I thought you were defending Vibrant media. Sorry.
Damn is that TDavid ugly! Engadget.com sucks anyways! Just another site, covered head-to-toe in more ad's then are needed. I understand money is needed to run a web site, but a billion ad all over the place is just getting greedy.
Vibrant media, just like Doubleclicks and all of those garbage companies don't care what anyone has to say. The money being pumped into their company by other companies is all they care about. I have always wondered what type of people work at those kinds of companies. Just like spammers, hackers, and other human trash. Do they justify their actions in some way to help them sleep at night? Or do they just not care? It is crazy how people can do horrible things with their life and still feel good about it.
Anderson Silva is a flash-in-the-pan. He really isn't that great at all. His style is limited. Consisting of the same things over and over again. I know newbies like Silva, because they don't understand the sport and Silva is the man to beat right now. But Chuck is a true MMA fighter, with REAL victory's under his belt. Chuck has beaten fighters through a full range of skills, not just the same punch, kick, knee to the fact that Silva is known for. I would bet on Chuck to win. I just can't wait to see Silva crash and burn. He is now so cocky and arrogant. So seeing Silva knocked out and lying in the ring for 30 minutes would be a great sight to see! So it comes down to. Do you want to see a fighter like Chuck, with full skills and talents. Or Silva, who has 3 good moves that he does over and over again? I would personally rather see a true MMA fighter like Chuck, then a future has-been like Silva.
It's not a powerhouse Carmen. You are a newbie, so the Treo seems great. But for those of us that have owned Treo's for years, Palm's devices are letdowns. I purchased the Treo 600 back in 2004 and the Centro I have in my hand now is just slightly better. That is almost 4 years and Palm barely made an attempt in making a new Treo. Look at what BlackBerry has done in 4 years. BlackBerry, the most basic of PDA's, has made huge changes in both design and features. HTC, Nokia, Motorola, Samsung, they have all been working hard. Now Apple comes out with a PDA I personally don't like, but it does pack a giant punch. Palm had 4 years to add GB's of RAM, but they kept offering less then 100MB's. They had the chance to change the display, but kept it at 16 Bit's. They had the chance to add WiFi, but didn't even bother. This on top of the 50 million other features they could have added. The 50 million other hardware/software issues they could have corrected. For newbies Treo's must seem great. Just keep in mind, in 4 years little has changed. That is why Palm is dying.
I own the Centro. I upgraded after using different models. The Centro, like all Treo's is the same-old deal. So a 755 for Verizon's network wouldn't be something so brand new that it would shock the world. It would just be yet another Treo device with lackluster features and spec's. So no, if I was still using Verizon, I couldn't care less about a new Treo coming out. I won't even bother with Palm if their next phone has these same generic features.
Who cares! AT&T chargers what, $49.99 extra a month for PDA access. If you spend that much on service then you don't know anything about the market and any software version will do.
While I'm sorry to hear that people will lose their jobs, Palm has been dead-in-the-water for years now. They milked the Treo 600's design though how many different models? Then they release the Centro, with NO new updates. It's 100% Palm's fault. What ever happen to Cobalt? Oh that's right, nothing... Palm either needs to make a new powerhouse device that has the features to beat every other PDA on the market, or just die. These stupid, minor updated Treo's are a joke. And if Palm hasn't seen the mobile OS market yet, yeah, Windows Mobile is beating your ***! I know you thought it was impossible years ago, but they now rule the Mobile OS market and your PalmOS hasn't seen any new companies developing any new products in years. Dead hardware, dead software, D.E.A.D!!!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
